All Calculus classes will use the online homework system MyMathLab. You will need to have an access code for MyMathLab.
The access code gives access to an electronic version of the textbook, hence you do not necessarily need to buy a physical textbook, although you may find it convenient to do so. New textbooks bought from the UMKC bookstore come with an access code. If you choose not to buy a physical textbook from the bookstore, then you can purchase the access code (for about $100) when you follow the attached registration instructions. If undecided, you can get temporary access for a period of 14 days; access starts the same day that you register for a MyMathLab account by clicking on the link in blackboard. If you plan on taking MATH 220 or MATH 250 (Calculus II or Calculus III) at UMKC, you will be able to use the same access code, as long as the same edition of the textbook is used.

Students are required to self-enroll in the associated MyMathLab. The temporarily grace period to enroll without purchasing access is 14 days and will start the 1st day you open the MyMathLab course from your Blackboard course.
